ISCAR is adding IC806, the most recommended grade for machining high temperature alloys, to UNJ and MJ thread profile laydown threading inserts for aerospace industry applications.


Laydown Threading Inserts, Grade IC806

Following the successful introduction of the IC806 grade (NPA 13-2017) and high market demand, ISCAR is expanding the range of laydown threading inserts for the aerospace industry with UNJ and MJ thread profiles in the optimal IC806 grade, SUMO PVD coated for machining high temperature alloys.

Features:
  • A sub-micron grade with superior wear resistant properties and advanced SUMO TECH PVD TiAlN coating
  • Effectively machines Inconel and austenitic stainless steel
  • Exhibits better results, improved tool life and greater reliability compared to competitors and other ISCAR grades
  • Improves flaking and chipping resistance
  • Provides very reliable and repeatable results
