New SUMOCHAM. Drilling Heads for Aluminum and Non-Ferrous Materials.

ISCAR is expanding the range of SUMOCHAM drilling head options by introducing a new drilling head geometry specially designed for machining aluminum and non-ferrous materials.
The new ICN drilling heads ensure hole tolerance of IT8-9 and are available in a diameter range of
10 to 19.5 mm. A detailed list of items is shown below.
ICN geometry should be regarded as a first choice solution for machining non-ferrous materials,
reducing the need for specially tailored inserts.
The new ICN drilling heads can be mounted on any SUMOCHAM standard drill body with a
suitable pocket size. Made from IC08 sub-micron uncoated grade, the ICN drilling heads feature
sharp cutting edges and polished flute surface for reduced friction.
DLC coated drilling heads, for longer tool life, can be provided on request.
